Pros:
+ Possibility to do the PPL theory in English via Distance Learning.
+ Communication generally went smoothly.
Negatives:
- The quality of the online module is very poor, certainly not state-of-the-art or high level learning. Not all important material is discussed, there are many errors (and no additional information is provided with errata), connections are missing and the Progress Tests that you have to do after each lesson contain questions about material that has not yet been covered. There are buttons at the bottom of the screen that have no function and sometimes even block text. They are actually just PowerPoint slides that you read through where the information is not displayed properly and little distinction is made between main and secondary issues. I asked if there was an iPad app available, as stated on the website, but this was not recommended by Orbit itself. If you want to study to pass the exams, this may be enough if you are lucky. But if you want to learn comprehension, this is not the right module. During my exam I was asked questions about parts that had not been discussed. For the resit, I studied the material through a good book and I passed the resit with 100%. I will have to re-study the other subjects through good books to understand everything properly - you only find out which information is incorrect when you read/learn something from a better source.
- Exam training or theory training is more of a formality to complete the required teaching hours. There was no time to discuss one of the subjects one evening, so that subject was skipped. If you sometimes asked questions about topics, the instructor would give you an answer like "this subject is not my strong suit".
- The price of €895 is much too high for what you get. I would have rather paid more for better quality if I had known it was so bad.
- The option to take the exam in Belgium (FPS Mobility and Transport) has been removed from the website. Too bad, because that was well arranged and a lot cheaper. It is not true that it is difficult to schedule exams - communication with FPS is very smooth, even in person. My exams were initially scheduled for the wrong date (whether that was incorrectly communicated by Orbit or not, I don't know), but that was immediately corrected after direct communication with FPS.
- Orbit has not responded to my email with feedback that I sent two weeks ago. So, communication generally goes smoothly, but they are not open to comments/points for improvement.

Pros:
+ Possibility to do the PPL theory in English through a Distance Learning module.
+ Communication went relatively well.
Cons:
- The quality of the online module was terrible, definitely not to be qualified as state-of-the-art or high level learning. Not all the important topics are included, there are many mistakes to be found (and no errata sheet is provided), there are missing links and the Progress Tests that need to be completed after each lesson include questions regarding topics that have not yet been covered . If you want to study just to pass your exams, this may be sufficient if you're lucky. But if you want to learn to understand, this is not the right module for you. You only realize what information was wrong when you read/learn about it from a better source.
- Exam training or theory training lessons are just a formality to comply with the required lesson hours.
