I hold the pilot's UL licence for ultralight aircrafts and the LAPL-A licence and it was my biggest dream to fly over the island of Crete and this was made possible for me here. After a very professional and friendly organisation by Cretaneagle, we had a flight over the island of Crete with George. The aeroplanes are in top condition and the prices are absolutely fair. This was definitely not our last flight! Many thanks for this special experience.

2 years agoI just made my transition there from a New Zealand license to an EASA license. The staff is knowledgeable, well organised and friendly. The planes are in a exceptional good condition, almost like new! I flew in a lot of countries with other organisations but never saw planes that were kept in such a good state. Flying with George and the other instructors is fun but you also learn a lot. I was first intimidated by the traffic and radio calls (in comparison to New Zealand) but that was a perfect training. Within a couple of days I had a steep learning curve and finally lost my "radio fear" completely. The guys in ATC and radar are friendly and speak a good English. Everybody at Cretan Eagle gives you the feeling that you are at the right place. The prices are moderate for the quality of training that you get there! And by the way - I had the friendliest examiner for my skill test ever in my life (I had four different exams so far, Germany, Canada, New Zealand and now Greece). 4 years agoWe did a round flight with a flight instructor. It was an amazing experience! The price for the flight, the FI, the landing fees, was absolutely okay! The FI was a professional, did good briefing, and also before the flight he did an intense check-up with the plane. He explained everything step by step and understandable. Also the Airplane (Diamond DA40) was new and with a high technical standard.
