In an era where urban air mobility is no longer a distant dream, Lilium Aviation stands at the forefront of innovation! Founded in 2015, this pioneering company is revolutionizing transportation with its cutting-edge electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft series, notably the Lilium Jet. Imagine flying across the city at speeds up to 300 km/h while helping to reduce emissions and congested streets! With an eye towards sustainability and efficiency, Lilium is committed to reshaping how we move—making it possible to soar above urban traffic and seamlessly integrate air taxis into our daily lives. Let’s dive into the transformative world of Lilium and explore the future of air travel!
Lilium GmbH, known as Lilium Aviation, is a pioneering aerospace company that has been making waves in the electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft industry since its founding in 2015. Based in Munich, Germany, at Giesinger Allee 14, Lilium is dedicated to transforming urban air mobility through sustainable and efficient air transport solutions. Under the leadership of CEO and co-founder Daniel Wiegand, Lilium is positioned at the forefront of the rapidly evolving eVTOL market!
The inception of Lilium arose from a deep-rooted passion for creating innovative transport solutions. A team of visionary engineers, influenced by research at the Technical University of Munich, explored avenues to alleviate urban congestion. Since its establishment, Lilium has rapidly scaled its operations, gathering substantial expertise in aerodynamics and propulsion technology. Notably, its journey includes crucial developmental milestones, such as successful flight tests that pave the way for urban air mobility.
Lilium is primarily recognized for its groundbreaking eVTOL aircraft, aptly named the Lilium Jet. This fully electric aircraft is designed specifically for urban transportation, promising to revolutionize the way we navigate congested cityscapes. n
Capable of reaching speeds of up to 300 km/h with a range of approximately 300 kilometers on a single charge, the Lilium Jet is perfectly suited for urban environments where vertical takeoff and landing are critical! Its innovative propulsion system, featuring multiple electric jet engines, ensures a significant reduction in emissions compared to traditional aircraft.
Beyond aircraft development, Lilium is actively engaged in creating a comprehensive ecosystem to support its eVTOL services. This includes establishing the necessary takeoff and landing infrastructure. Through partnerships with urban planners and transportation stakeholders, Lilium aims to set up vertiports that will be vital for the efficient operation of air taxis in densely populated areas. The company envisions an integrated network of aerial mobility services that would facilitate faster transportation and encourage broader acceptance of this upcoming mode of travel.
Lilium’s growth trajectory has caught the attention of investors, especially after its public debut in 2021 through a merger with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC). Notable partnerships with aviation authorities demonstrate Lilium’s commitment to safety and regulatory compliance as it prepares for commercial launch. However, challenges remain in areas such as regulatory hurdles and the integration of eVTOL operations within existing transport systems.
In conclusion, Lilium GmbH is steering towards a future where urban air mobility becomes a commonplace reality. The company’s relentless pursuit of innovation and sustainability is sure to position it as a leader in the aerial transport space, contributing significantly to the evolution of the aerospace industry!

2 months agoI worked at Lilium for over a year and I can only recommend from my experience there, to stay away, not a safe environment for a woman to work and grow. And don't try to remove my review, i have documents and emails to show much more that it is a legit feedback!

3 months agoI had the same experience as David Meenan, and I think it was the same person interviewing. I should have ended the interview midway but I somehow believed that being polite to a rude person would make me feel better. It didn't! I am glad I didn't get to work with them. If that's how the first contact looks like, I can imagine the environment around the office. Conclusion: avoid Lilium if possible!! There are better options out there.

a month agoAwful experience dealing with this company. Spend a great deal of my time on an interview with them. The person doing the interview was rude, didn't have any knowledge of the company or the role I was applying for. Shows a Complete lack of professionalism from this company. They have tried to get this review removed saying it is false. It is not and I have the emails to prove it
