11 months agoA medium-sized, software company in Germany, but with international connections. The focus of this company is on flight simulators. But they sale also Hardware Components, however, i can't say anything about their Hardware because I don't need any of them and therefore, makes sence, i don't own any of them. Accordingly this review is related to Software only! The developments from this company, mainly is on flight simulators, and their extensions. However, other genres of simulators or games are also offered. Among other things, bus simulators and truck simulators. But there are also corresponding offers for the less demanding genres or the more arcade-based games such as winter sports or police. As far as in-house support is concerned, I have had the opportunity to gain different experiences with it several times. The support staff usually seems friendly at the beginning, and inquiries are usually answered quickly. However, emphasis is primarily placed on the support issue itself, rather in the “if we willing to” area. Especially when it comes to products that the company does not produce itself, but only handles their marketing, the support gives a rather "reserved" impression, and you are often annoyed with the standard statement, ala: "The concern will be forwarded to the developer". In usually case, you usually wait for feedback or appropriate assistance, but in vain. But even with products from their own company, such as the Aerosoft Launcher, a program with which purchased products are supposed to be activated, the functionality or up-to-dateness is only given inadequate attention or not at all. As far as the purchase or delivery of the products purchased from this company is concerned, from my experience I can only refer to online purchases, which are offered on the company's website. Purchasing and product delivery are quick and reliable. However, when it comes to the maintenance on the part of the company regarding the up-to-dateness of the products, it is rather "average" because in order to get updates, partly you first have to go to a separate company website and sometimes (for some games) you also have to register separately to get these updates. I actually wondering, on one side, were all the good reviews came from. On the other side, we know what some ones do this days to promote their self, right?! ;-) However, all together, as well to their maybe maximum on half way Professional Organisation, I decided to give this Company fair 2 Stars.
