6 years agoMy daughter and I had the BEST time flying from Denver to Encampment, WY! Everyone I spoke with at Independence Aviation was knowledgeable, experienced, enthusiastic, and incredibly helpful to me trying to put together a flight to a ranch my family had gone to for over 50 years -- but NEVER by plane!! And once we got on the plane, both pilots (outbound and return) related so easily and well with us, given their experience (meaning EXTREMELY experienced), that it just seemed a little bit like a dream. We knew we were just going to have a great time, and were being handled by very capable folks!

5 years agoMy wife surprised me with a Discovery Flight right before our wedding. Cirrus airplanes are amazing! The one I got to fly was practically brand new and had a much smoother ride than the Cessna 172 that I’m used to. The team at Independence Aviation is very friendly and knowledgeable and did a great job helping my wife coordinate her surprise to me!

5 years agoWe used the flight simulator to provide training on use of the CAPS parachute system for my wife. We recently purchased a Cirrus SR22 and she was nervous about how to operate the equipment in case of an emergency. The simulator is first rate, providing a very realistic visual experience, and the instructor was very knowledgeable whose explanations were friendly and clear. My wife is very enthusiastic about flying in the airplane and feels the system is simple, that she could operate it in an emergency, and she knows what the experience would be like from the simulator demonstrations.

4 years agoI fly with IA weekly, and I absolutely adore it! Everyone is always super welcoming and helpful, and it is super easy to make connections! My instructor is Kevin Shephard, and he is just wonderful. He is always wanting to improve my learning environment, and he does everything he can to make my experience fun, educational, and valuable. He is straight forward, and he is always on top of the curriculum. I absolutely would recommend flying with IA!

8 years agoThese guys sure know how to have fun! Independence Aviation is dialed in. Their facility is impeccability clean and well maintained. The staff is knowledgeable, welcoming and very accommodating. Their fleet is impressive and extensive. Love these guys!
