2 years agoWe came in unannounced (weather diversion) in our Cirrus and the ramp guys were so welcoming and got us fuel right away. More importantly when we went to start up the engine we encountered a mechanical issue and the maintenance guys came out right away with a GPU and when that didn’t fix it the plane was in the hangar right away and within the hour problem was diagnosed by the service department and fixed at almost a negligible cost. They could have said anything and took advantage of a stranded pilot (and wife) but they were honest and extremely helpful and friendly. I will be stopping there all the time for fuel if I am flying thru the area just to say hi to my new friends! Well done to the West Star Aviation maintenance and service team!

4 years agoCame in on a "Pilots N Paws" mission. The two customer service reps were great with the two dogs, and showed us a frontcourt lawn for them to play in while waiting for pickup. The FBO lobby is extremely nice and well maintained. Fuel prices are a little on the steep side but its a premium FBO in colorado, so I knew what to expect coming in.

7 years agoThe way these guys treat their customers is why we keep coming back. Every level of service is completely transparent and open. You know exactly what is going on with your aircraft at all times. Up front the service is beyond amazing. Everybody at the front desk will bend over backwards for you. This is a place we will continue to return to for the lifetime of the aircraft.

8 years agoThis is a revolving door for contract labor. West Starvation holds a skeleton crew and relies on abusing contractor mechanics to hurry airplanes out the door. I consider their business practices and their monopoly of airport property to be shady, at best.
