I have been to my share of flight schools around. Bar none, I assure you, this flight school is unmatched.
You are not a number here. I didn't get the feeling that the instructors here were just time building. My experience has been nothing but great with everyone.
Safe, well maintained equipment. I am excited for more training to come!
Great work guys!
My husband and I took an introductory flight with Kristy here. Everything went smoothly and she was informative and guided us well. We had a lovely experience with her up in the sky!
Highly recommended the intro flight to anyone with an interest in aviation!
This is the worst flight school in Canada. The CFI Kevin Brighton is so rude to the customers. Even when he answers the phone he sounds like you are bothering him.
They don’t take responsibility or accept feedback. You can tell by the other negative reviews here that they dismiss your concerns.
I did my entire training here and hated every day of it. My friends too complain about their experiences here.
This school needs a serious major overhaul in attitude, customer service, and student success rate. Until then, please stay far away.
This site seeing flight to Niagara with my boys was such a nice way to end off a stressful week. Many thanks to my family for the amazing experience this birthday gift was. Thank you to our pilot, Brandon Hutchenson, for a safe, informative, and friendly tour. And above all, for your mini intro to flight lesson and instruction. I'm confident you're a great instructor, and I look forward to meeting again.
About time I leave a review of this place.
After working for this company for about 4 or so years I really felt like I was at home. I did all of my flight training through spectrum and the amount of flying knowledge in that place is absurd.
The atmosphere is very unlike other schools in how you're not treated as a number, but as a person. It's the type of place where after a few flights the dispatcher knows your name and asks how your lesson was. It's the place where you can approach any instructor with the simplest question and walk away with way more information than you know what to do with. This flight school does take care of their students and if you put a smile on your face they'll give you one right back.
Of course with any flight school there are delays and frustrations with flight training however if you are worried or feeling those frustrations remember, you're not the first and you wont be the last. When you're sat staring out of the snow mid January hoping to go up, there's always the simulator to use or ground schools to study for or exams to get sorted however what I found best to do, was simply hang out at the school and study with some of the most encouraging instructors you'll find.
With that being said if you're considering flight training in this area, with the diverse fleet of aircraft and instructors, Spectrum can and will take care of you. Just do your homework!!!
