9 months agoWe shared a unique New Year's event with our grandson, taking a helicopter flight over Gatineau and Ottawa, Views of the rivers were fantastic, a true Canadian experience with a sprinkling of snow hitting the windshield. Our pilot Iliane was great; took us into the hanger, answered our questions and itemised safety features. Then he took us up into the air, and we spent a wonderful time flying over Gatineau, the Park, downtown Ottawa and rivers. We recommend at any time of the year, Canada is beautiful in Winter, Spring , Summer and Fall .

7 months agoFinished my ATPL in november 2023 with Select Aviation. I really enjoyed my training. Great instructors and the aircrafts are well maintained. Gatineau airport is a very nice place for flight training.

a year agoNothing could have prepared me for the wonderful experience, filled with adrenaline and exotic view of the Ottawa and Gatineau Cities from the skies. My mum brother and daughter received a VIP treatment from the entire team at Select Aviation, with a really kind and respectful pilot that did not mind answering all our questions. The helicopter ride was an experience of a life time!!

a year agoWhere do I start! by far one of the coolest places to do your flight training in the country, I had the chance to visit and train at flight schools in the US and Canada and I can tell you from experience that Select Aviation is at it's own level! -Great fleet of airplanes, I dare you to find a better maintained fleet, these guys are on top of maintenance, they do most of it in-house and surely don't cut on cost, that means safer and better looking airplanes than most places I have seen. -Great people culture, from the owners to the dispatchers you can tell that is a caring institution, always striving for improvement in the way they provide training, not only training, they want people to have a great experience during their time at the school, not only in but outside of campus, surely they are victims of their own success when it comes to finding student housing, every one wants to be part of a growing, successful institution! -Opportunity for growth! where else in Canada can you go on to become a flight instructor and built your hours as fast as you can do it here? the industry is booming and the faster you get some experience the faster you can move on to the airlines. -No, it is not a perfect school but surely they are on the path of becoming one of the best flight schools in North America, remember the formula for success: Knowledge + Experience x Attitude= SUCCESS!
