You. Yes you. Searching for a flight school eh? Look, this is the Tim Horton's of flight schools. It has historical significance, and a non-profit brand. But suffers from administrative dysfunction due to a bad hire. And silo'd staff resulting in a disjointed experience. That said PFC will get you your caffeine fix at a lower cost if that is important to you. And the flight training is likely pretty good still. So where to get the Starbucks experience? For a student-centric experience, try Pitt Meadows. Couple of well run schools there. Better vibes you know i.e. the organizational culture there. Also right next to the training airspace. Or try something further east in the Fraser Valley. All the best and happy flying! See you up in the skies fam :)

Really enjoyed, professional, courteous, and sweat the details. Thank you very much to Dana Archer, and team, a wonderful scouting trip. The engine just purred, so nice weather and overall lifetime great memory.

Great place to become a good pilot! Big well-maintained fleet, knowledgeable CFIs and quite a few students to connect with on your journey to PPL, CPL or more advanced airmanship.

Would not recommend Pacific flying club for private pilots license (PPL) They market saying to expect approx. 60hrs for flying time at a cost of around $16K over 4 to 6 months but in reality from my experience and nearly every other PPL student I spoke with it was over 120 hour of flying time at a cost of over $30,000 over 12 to 18 months. There is a lack of communication between students and instructors. The management is disrespectful and rude. The turnover of instructors is very high and results in mostly new and inexperienced instructors. My experience with pacific flying club was very frustrating and at time infuriating. If you want to enjoy your experience flying and training DO NOT FLY WITH PACIFIC FLYING CLUB!
