3 months agoFaced work place harassment. Did not press charges but I chose to quit and get away from all the negativity. The school is saying it is personal problem. How can it be a personal problem when employees of their company, my co workers, ganged up together and harassed me on the work place site. I did notify the top managers and they also agreed to the harassment and said action will be taken and said they owe me an apology. They made a promise they won’t let me get harassed anymore. I never got the apology letter and the harassment continued. Actually it got even more. I still have the RCMP file number. I just chose to not press charges and get away from the negativity and for my peace of mind.

3 years agoI am a current student with CAC and I have nothing but great things to say. Everyone there has treated me very well and has been accommodating to my schedule. As I also run a company my time is very valuable to me so this was of huge importance to me. My flight instructor has be absolutely amazing. Going out of his way to help me build the skill and confidence (thank you Sadiq!). I currently have 2 bookings a week and the school is able to accommodate even more if I can find the time. This was a huge plus for CAC. All the other schools I looked at said 1 maybe 2 booking is possible per week. In practice, after speaking with many former and current students at these other schools I found that they were lucky to get 1 or 2 bookings in a MONTH! So if you want to fly and you want to build your skill and hours quickly CAC can make that happen. My hope, as a part time student, is to get my PPL, IR, Multi, Night and finally CPL and I will look to CAC for all of it!

5 months agoJoined CAC to get my CPL flight test done transferring from another flight school. It was a very smooth process, top tier training and highly professional instructors made it easy for me to get across the finish line. Highly recommend doing your Flight Training from Canadian Aviation College.

5 months agoVery poor customer service. No one will respond to your email. They will just say everyone is busy. So then who the hell is responsible for queries of students who want to join. And the Manager, she even doesn't understand English. You will have to repeat your statement 3 times. I have been calling them from the last 5 days. They just say we'll get back to you

3 months agoIf I could give Canadian Aviation College zero stars, I would, but unfortunately, one star is the lowest option. This institution has an abysmal reputation for retaliating against students who voice legitimate concerns about aircraft safety and training quality. Recently, there have been multiple raids by Transport Canada, which uncovered serious deficiencies in their safety standards. As a result, many of their planes have been grounded, and they have been ordered to replace their engines. The school's response to student concerns is nothing short of alarming. They often withhold PTRs (Pilot Training Records) as a form of retaliation and forcefully charge for CPP (Commercial Pilot Program) ground classes, adding unnecessary financial burdens on students. Adding to the chaos, the college is currently under investigation by both PTIB (Private Training Institutions Branch) and Transport Canada. These ongoing investigations speak volumes about the questionable practices and poor management at this institution. I strongly advise anyone considering flight training to look elsewhere. Save your time, money, and peace of mind—avoid Canadian Aviation College at all costs.
