I do NOT recommend Skyline Aviation. A friend of mine and I talked with Jonathan Shorey (Chief Flight Instructor) and his Assistant Terry Pricer about ME training in November 2923. They said apply for TSA and the training begins in December. We applied and paid for the TSA, got approved. We’re excited to begin training but Terry said the plane is down for some maintenance issues and it will take a month, stop by in February. I stopped by the school in February, but the plane was still down they said. I inquired about it in March, no good news about our training and I was told to come back in April or call Terry. He didn’t respond to my text messages and calls, I swing by in April. They said you can come in August because we’re busy now. Contact Terry for scheduling, I tried a few times but he didn’t respond. My friend and I paid and waited for 6 months, but still no response. The plane was airworthy and it was flying.
Their behavior is unacceptable, they showed disrespect and looked at us down. Because we are not Native speakers. We were freedom fighters trained by the USAF, we worked alongside side the US Advisor and supported the US Missions in Afghanistan. A wise man once had said “people have become educated but have yet to become human”. Thanks for reading.
Got my private license here in just a couple months. The instructors and staff are better than any place I've been to, and the cost is also lower. I live out of state but I'll definitely be coming back to do the rest of my training here.
