5 years agoThe Paragliding Club was established in 1986 by royal decree in line with the global development in the field of aviation and to provide Jordanians with experience in the field of paragliding. Since its establishment, it has received the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein and the support of His Majesty the late King Hussein bin Talal, may God rest his soul, and many institutions and individuals. The club is located at Amman Civil Airport in the Marka area. The club provides an atmosphere rich in technical expertise and sound guidance in the field of aviation, provided by an elite group of highly qualified flight instructors. The calm rhythm of air traffic in the airspace of the airport, supported by moderate weather, provides a good opportunity for training members and also for aviation to gain the desired experience and skill. Because of the good reputation it has enjoyed internationally, the club has been able to attract many Arab and foreign visitors to experience the joy of flying in the atmosphere of the city of Amman. It has also been able to provide ambitious young people with the appropriate opportunity to learn aviation skills, starting from basic skills all the way to flying professionally. In addition to exploring the city's atmosphere, the club holds many camps in Wadi Rum, Aqaba, and many beautiful areas in Jordan. In addition to all of the above, the club goes beyond the ordinary and goes a little outside the framework of official relations, as the club has become a meeting place for members who bring with them their families and friends in an intimate atmosphere of friendship and brotherhood that helps in achieving the maximum feeling of comfort within the club.
