Wow! What an experience! Josh was our pilot and he was super nice and very knowledgeable making the experience even better. The view was gorgeous and I got a ton of amazing pictures as well as instruction on how to operate the plane and even though I didn’t drive (my bf was in the front) it was still very informative and better than just a regular flight with no instruction at all! Would highly recommend! ❤️
The best experience of my life. I want to be a Pilot and this intro class showed me that I want to go very far. I love Adrenaline and extreme and driving a plane was a breathtaking experience!. And I think this is for me. Everybody in the office were super friendly, and I felt like family. The Pilot Jack was very friendly and informative. He gave me a detailed explanation of what we were going to do. AWESOME EXPERIENCE EVER!!!.
My son received an hour ride gift certificate for Christmas. He went this weekend and loved the experience! He was able to steer and even help make turns, all under the instruction of the pilot. Highly recommended!
Very professional and helpful people. I did an intro course into flying and everyone was friendly and patient with me. The offer programs to get a private pilot's license up through multi engine commercial flying license.
I wanted to post a picture of my time line to prove I have been here a few times, as some negative reviews seem to be questioning if the reviewer had ever been there. The first time I was in was because of booking issues on the online booking system and no one answering when I called. I went to the office to book an intro flight as an opportunity to find out if this is where I wanted to spend my money to get PPL training. I was on the fence after meeting the CFI and flying in N80511 on October 27, 2018. While I was flying, my fiancee was in the office where the office staff was talking about maintenance items on another aircraft and if they were going to complete it. The severity or full extent of what ever they were talking about is irrelevant as this shouldn't be talked about in front of a customer. I didn't make a decision about PPL training at this time due to life, holidays etcetera. So, after saving a bit more money to get the bulk of PPL training paid for, for both myself and my fiancee, we started looking at getting training actually started. I saw an opportunity for a scholarship from AOPA, but it had a requirement to have a student pilot certificate. We filed our our applications on IACRA site and got our FTNs. We needed a DPE or CFI that is a part of a Part 141 flight school, to verify identity to complete the application to get a student pilot certificate. We called Classic Air and asked if they would take care of this for us. They booked an hour appointment with a CFI for us and, when asked, said they take credit cards and to expect to pay less than $70 for the CFI's time. When we showed up for our appointment there was confusion about why we were there and when Robert, the CFI, came out he insulted my fiancee asking she was my mom. We are both in our 30's and two years different in age. Letting that go, we moved on to the reason we were there. Again, more confusion as he didn't know what to do. He went to the back and asked someone else, came back and logged to the FAA site, only to tell is he didn't have the endorsement needed, and we would have to reschedule. So, the front desk person confirmed (with Robert the CFI) that Lisa would be able to help us, and booked a new appointment for us for today. I adjusted my schedule to make sure I got to Classic Air before our appointment time, arrived early to walk in to construction in the office and confusion as to why we were there. The front desk person then called the CFI we had an appointment with only to be told she had left. We never got a call to inform us our appointment was canceled. I am glad I was able to have this experience before spending more money with them.
