a month agoI had a great experience flying with Land and Sea Aviation. We rented a 172 and flew around Denali mountains. Kit Barton, our instructor was awesome. He has great knowledge of the mountains and expertly guided us through the mountains. If anyone is looking to rent an aircraft in Anchorage, this is the place!

2 years agoOn vacation in Alaska and had to take the opportunity to shoot some landings in a Cessna 172 to make Alaska the 47th state I have landed a small plane in. Planned a round robin from Merrill up to Palmer and then across to Turnagain Arm via Lake George. Weather was perfect, wind in the mountains non-existent (thank you Baby Jesus). Took CFI Evan along to forgo the rental checkout. Great decision, he had lots of local area experience and we spent about two hours swapping instructor war stories and enjoying the Alaskan countryside. Great folks, good outfit, check them out.

4 years agoAs a former CFI for Land & Sea in 2018, I would like to say how much I enjoyed the company. Great staff. Excellently maintained aircraft by the owner who is a mechanic before a pilot, who keeps the fleet flying with ease. Great students as well. I enjoyed my time there and hope my students enjoyed mine!
