    Medjet is the best! I fell off my bicycle in rural Portugal and broke my hip and broke and dislocated both bones in my wrist. I was operated on at a local hospital and would be unable to fly home on a commercial airline for weeks. My husband, who thankfully purchased evacuation insurance for us with Medjet, called them the next day. They sent out a plane with 2 pilots, a critical care nurse, and a paramedic to bring me home. They arrived the following day, came to the hospital to meet us, and spoke with the providers to make sure they had everything they needed to get me home safely. The next morning they arrived promptly with an ambulance to take to me the airport. We boarded the air ambulance and were flown safely to our local airport where another ambulance met us and brought me to my hospital. I'm sure anyone can imagine how terrified we were. Yet, they were so professional and competent and kind and caring that they really inspired confidence and we quickly relaxed. By the end of the trip, we were joking with them and enjoying the snacks they provided. My accident was late in the afternoon on a Tuesday, I got out of the operating room Wednesday morning, and by Saturday, I was recovering in a hospital bed in Massachusetts. That's how fast they got me home-no hassles, no red tape, just competence and compassion. I would recommend them to anyone and we'll never travel without evacuation insurance.

    Last year Medjet assisted my husband after an accident in the Maldives. The accident caused the ankle to break in several places and required a 5 hour surgery to repair. I contacted Medjet immediately and they helped coordinate all aspects, including talking to the orthopedic surgeon and figuring out what would work best pre and post surgery and for our return flights to Texas after hospital stay. Medjet coordinated and provided all transportation and wheelchairs to and from all airports. We were seated in First class on Qatar Airlines with the flat bed suites to accommodate my husbands cast and crutches for the very long journey home. A limo service picked us up took us all the way to our door. Truly amazing experience. Everyone we dealt with professional and caring. We will never travel without it again.

    Last year Medjet assisted my husband after a horrendous fall on some concrete steps in Vail, Colorado. The accident shattered his left hip and femur. The doctors said it was one of the worst fractures they had ever seen, with the bones in many pieces. He was rushed into surgery at Vail Hospital where the orthopedic surgeon stabilized the bones with two titanium rods. He was unable to travel via regular air flights. We were trying to figure out how we could get home to San Diego, since he was also unable to travel by car. I remembered that he was a Medjet member and contacted you. What your employees and organization accomplished was nothing short of miraculous.  After a 5 day hospital stay, all arrangements were promptly  made and coordinated between the Vail Hospital, our San Diego hospital, and your air transport. Your people put him on a gurney, drove to the Eagle Vail airport, loaded him onto the small jet, and flew smoothly to San Diego, unloaded him to a waiting ambulance and placed him into a waiting bed, all without causing excruciating pain which any movement exasperated. Your personnel, 2 pilots, one EMT, and one nurse could not have been more professional, kind and efficient. We will be eternally grateful for the quick response and ability to solve numerous problems which were encountered due to hospital bureaucracy and a blinding snowstorm.  My husband and I had been Medjet members for years, and thought we would never have to avail ourselves of your services, even though we travel extensively both at home and internationally.  Our future travel will be with peace of mind knowing that your company and personnel are always there to support us in a crisis.  Thank you for providing an invaluable service, it is worth every penny.

    MedJet was extraordinarily helpful to me on a recent trip. I was injured aboard a ship in the North Sea and was taken to the local hospital in Lerwick, Scotland. This is when MedJet sprung into action to help me return safely to the U.S. After the cruise coordinator contacted MedJet on my behalf, MedJet started liaising with the hospital about my situation and made arrangements for a nurse to meet me in this remote island hospital and for the two of us to fly back to the U.S. via business class seats that were completely arranged and paid for by MedJet. This was no small feat as it was during the height of the travel season this summer with the unusual flight delays/cancellations/lost baggage. The nurse was very caring and I felt in safe hands. And I'm grateful to MedJet for their services.

    We had just purchased Medjet right before Covid hit and all our trips were cancelled. I called to see if they would extend our membership. While every travel business was helping consumers, Medjet did not extend the expiration dates of their contracts during this COVID period b/c "you could still travel domestically".
